Baseball Recap: Earlham Comes Up Short

After flying high against Southeast Warren on Wednesday, Earlham came back down to earth. The Cardinals fell just short of the Panorama Panthers by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The Cardinals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in June of 2025.

Earlham has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. Panorama's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Earlham beat the Panthers by a score of 10-5 later that day.
