Basketball Recap: Charlevoix Takes a Loss

Charlevoix lost against Harbor Springs back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Charlevoix Rayders took a blow against the Harbor Springs Rams, falling 57-17. While losing is never fun, the Rayders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 554th, while the Rams are ranked 54th).

Charlevoix has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season. As for Harbor Springs, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

Charlevoix will take on Grayling at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Harbor Springs, they will head out on the road to face off against Boyne City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
