Southeast Alamance's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Eastern Alamance Eagles with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Southeast Alamance walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-21, 25-15.

Among those leading the charge was Sadie Trembley, who had five digs and three aces. What's more, she posted two assists, the most she's had over her last six matches. Annistan Silver also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Southeast Alamance was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Eastern Alamance only served nine.

Despite the loss, Eastern Alamance still got an impressive performance from Gracie Jenkins, who had 14 digs and two aces. Jenkins has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last five times she's played.

Southeast Alamance is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Eastern Alamance, their loss dropped their record down to 14-9.

Southeast Alamance has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Graham on the 13th. As for Eastern Alamance, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Western Alamance on the 13th.
