Boston Reynolds was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. Those 12 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 4-for-5 with three stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jashon Lewis, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last ten games he's played. Blake Green was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases and one RBI.
Harrison County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .568. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Augusta only posted an OBP of .259.
