Football Recap: Afton Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Afton's offense. They were outmatched by the Galena Bulldogs and fell 41-0. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 63-24 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Afton's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Galena, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Afton will host Ketchum at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Eagles' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Galena, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Riverton on October 3.
