Basketball Recap: Itasca Skates Past Southwest with Ease

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Aubrey, Itasca was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Southwest Raiders 47-18. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Wampus Cats as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Itasca's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Southwest, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Coincidentally, Itasca and Southwest will both be playing Life Waxahachie the next time they take the court. The Wampus Cats will head out to face the Mustangs at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Raiders will play them later in the day, at 7:10 p.m.
