Basketball Recap: Early College Drops Highest Score of Season Against Monroe

Early College was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 46-41 heartbreaker at the hands of the Monroe Red Jackets. One positive for the Sharks, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Early College's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Monroe, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Early College will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Franklin at 5:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025. Monroe will also get a bit of a break before their next match: they'll face off against Canandaigua Academy at 5:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
