Softball Recap: Sandusky Takes a Loss

Sandusky made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Millington, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Redskins fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 7-5 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Redskins have suffered since April 19, 2025.

Morgan Hooper was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. Another player making a difference was Cora Arbaugh, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Sandusky and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Millington, they pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Sandusky will square off against Caro at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Millington, they will take on Laker at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
