Volleyball Recap: Berkley Comes Up Short

Berkley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Port Huron Northern Huskies. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bears of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Berkley's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Port Huron Northern, the win (which was their 13th in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 2-0.

Berkley has already played their next match (against Grosse Pointe North), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Port Huron Northern, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Lutheran North on the 23rd.
