Softball Game Preview: Dysart Demons vs. Cortez Colts

For the second straight game, Dysart will face off against Cortez. The Demons will be playing at home against the Colts at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Dysart has given up an average of 19 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Dysart came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 35-25 to Cortez. The Demons haven't had much luck with the Colts recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Mya Sias made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all five of her plate appearances with five runs, two triples, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Juliana Bustraan, who went 2-for-4 with three runs and one triple.

Dysart's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Cortez, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-11 record.
