Softball Recap: Danville Comes Up Short

Danville fell victim to Hector and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 15-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-1 back in March.

Danville's loss dropped their record down to 2-11-1. As for Hector, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-2.

Danville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hector, they will welcome Hackett at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Wildcats have won seven straight at home, while the Hornets won seven straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
