Meanwhile, New Designs University Park had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past Brio College Prep 36-13 on Friday. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 21 points or more this season.

USC Hybrid better focus on containing Daviandre Davis and Gael Mejia as the pair were huge in New Designs University Park's win. Davis posted 13 points, while Mejia earned nine points along with five rebounds and three steals. Davis has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Dorian Pollard was another key player, putting up eight points.

USC Hybrid's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for New Designs University Park, their win bumped their record up to 13-5.

USC Hybrid took a serious blow against New Designs University Park when the teams last played back in January of 2024, falling 54-13.
