Soccer Recap: Ravenna Comes Up Short

After flying high against Newaygo on Friday, Ravenna came back down to earth. The Bulldogs lost 5-1 to the Manistee Mariners on Monday. Ravenna were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Manistee apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Ravenna's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Manistee, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Ravenna will face off against Potter's House Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Manistee, they will host North Muskegon at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
