Freedom won the last time they faced St. Stephens and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Patriots walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Indians. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Patriots.

Madelyn LeMaster spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on five hits.

On the hitting side, Hallie Ollis was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylee Skinner, who went 1-for-2 with two runs.

Freedom's record is now 7-13. As for St. Stephens, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-13.

Coming up, Freedom will square off against South Caldwell at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Patriots' hitters will have their work cut out for them. St. Stephens has already played their next game (against West Iredell), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
