Soccer Recap: Rolling Meadows Comes Up Short

Rolling Meadows was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fremd Vikings. While losing is never fun, Rolling Meadows can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 247th, while Fremd are ranked 70th).

Rolling Meadows' goal came courtesy of Tommy Jackman, who's now up to six this season.

Rolling Meadows' defeat dropped their record down to 2-6-3. As for Fremd, the victory got them back to even at 5-5-2.

Rolling Meadows wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Elk Grove on the 27th. As for Fremd, they have also already played their next matchup, a 4-1 win against Hoffman Estates on the 27th.
