Soccer Game Preview: Arcadia vs. Washington

The Arcadia Raiders will face off against the Washington Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Arcadia's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They blew past Tomah 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for Arcadia.

Meanwhile, Washington made easy work of Galesburg on Thursday and carried off an 8-0 win. Washington's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four matchups.

Their offense was hitting Galesburg from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. John Clift led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

Washington's victory bumped their record up to 19-1-1. As for Arcadia, their win bumped their record up to 17-1-3.
