Baseball Recap: Solanco Comes Up Short

Solanco couldn't beat Warwick on Monday even though they stacked four runs on them in the third inning. The Golden Mules lost 14-4 to the Warriors. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Golden Mules, who until this matchup were averaging 3.8 runs allowed.

Lucas Vilk made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was his first of the season.

The defeat snapped Solanco's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-4 record. As for Warwick, their record is now 4-6.
