Baseball Recap: Pleasant View Christian Starts Season with Win at Home

Pleasant View Christian gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 win over South Haven Christian. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 21-11 victory South Haven Christian walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2022.

Mason Busler was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over seven innings pitched. Busler was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Jaxon Highsmith was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases.

South Haven Christian is on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Pleasant View Christian will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against South Haven Christian at 6:00 p.m. on April 8th. South Haven Christian will also get a bit of a break before their next game: they'll face off against Hendersonville Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on March 28th.
