Baseball Recap: Clear Lake Comes Up Short

Clear Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 5-2 to the North Polk Comets.

Clear Lake's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for North Polk, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Coming up, Clear Lake will head out on the road to challenge St. Edmond at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Gaels will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight. As for North Polk, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Boone at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
