Recap: Norborne Pirates vs. Southwest Wildcats
The Norborne Pirates waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins but they left with three. They snuck past Southwest with a 38-33 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Norborne also won the last time the pair played last Saturday.
Despite the defeat, Southwest had strong showings from Regan Donoho, who scored eight points along with seven steals, and Emalee Granville, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds.
Norborne is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-10 record this season. As for Southwest, their loss dropped their record down to 2-15.
Norborne will head out on the road to take on Higbee on Monday. Higbee has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 604 points over their last nine contests. Southwest does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
