It was a proper cat-fight when Wright City took on Mark Twain on Tuesday. The Wildcats blew past the Tigers 16-2. Considering the Wildcats have won five contests by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory was the third in a row for Wright City, bringing their record up to 7-9. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.7 runs over those games. As for Mark Twain, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Coming up, Wright City will head out to take on Hallsville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats are facing the Indians at the right time seeing as the Indians are stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Mark Twain, they will be playing at home against Elsberry at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
