Soccer Game Preview: Greene County Tech vs. Searcy

Greene County Tech hasn't had much luck against Searcy recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Greene County Tech Golden Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the Searcy Lions at 7:00 p.m.

Monday just wasn't the day for Greene County Tech's offense. They lost 4-0 to Batesville on Monday. The Golden Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last contest, Searcy made sure to put some goals up on the board against Marion on Monday. They never let the Patriots get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Lions' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Searcy's win bumped their record up to 3-1-1. As for Greene County Tech, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5-1.

Greene County Tech might still be hurting after the 6-0 loss they got from Searcy in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can Greene County Tech avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
