Basketball Recap: Lee Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Calhoun Academy back in November, Lee Academy came back down to earth. The Lee Academy Colts were dealt a 63-26 loss at the hands of the Delta Streets Academy Lions on Thursday. The Colts were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Lee Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Delta Streets Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5.

Lee Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Calhoun Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Delta Streets Academy and Deer Creek will compete for holiday cheer at 6:50 p.m. on Saturday.
