Soccer Game Preview: Hokes Bluff vs. Cherokee County

The Hokes Bluff Eagles will face off against the Cherokee County Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in Hokes Bluff's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Cherokee County has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.

On Thursday, Hokes Bluff was able to grind out a solid victory over St. Clair County, taking the game 5-3.

Meanwhile, Cherokee County fought the good fight in their overtime match against Etowah on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Blue Devils by a score of 6-5.

Cherokee County's loss dropped their record down to 1-10-2. As for Hokes Bluff, the win got them back to even at 7-7-1.

Everything went Hokes Bluff's way against Cherokee County in their previous matchup back in March, as Hokes Bluff made off with a 7-3 victory. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
