Basketball Recap: Searsport Takes a Loss

Searsport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 57-32 to the Piscataquis Pirates. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 68-44 back in December of 2024.

Searsport's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Piscataquis, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Searsport will head out to challenge Shead at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Piscataquis, they are taking a road trip to take on Stearns at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
