Gilbert faced River Bluff in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Indians blew past the Gators 10-4. Considering the Indians have won nine games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Gilbert's win bumped their record up to 14-8-2. As for River Bluff, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-8 record this season.

Gilbert will head out to square off against Dreher at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Blue Devils have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.53 runs per game on average), something the Indians will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for River Bluff, they will welcome Pelion at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Gators surely won't give up without a fight.
