Paraclete is 4-0 against Vasquez since January of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Paraclete Spirits just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Vasquez Mustangs at 5:30 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Friday, Paraclete was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 66-61 to Bosco Tech. The Spirits have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, after a string of seven wins, Vasquez's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 58-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of The Palmdale Aerospace Academy.

Paraclete's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Vasquez, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-6.

Everything came up roses for Paraclete against Vasquez in their previous meeting back in January of 2020, as the squad secured a 72-38 victory. Will Paraclete repeat their success, or does Vasquez have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
