Volleyball Recap: Methuen Victorious

The Methuen Rangers earned a 3-1 win over the Sharon Eagles on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rangers.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 24-26, 25-17, 25-19.

Kathryn Driend was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had six digs and four aces. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (28). Caylee O'Brien was another key player, getting ten kills, five digs, and three aces.

Methuen's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Sharon, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Methuen didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Tewksbury Memorial on the 8th. As for Sharon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Canton on the 9th.
