Basketball Recap: Schoharie Takes a Loss

Schoharie has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were dealt a 93-37 defeat at the hands of the Duanesburg Eagles on Wednesday. The Storm were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-13.

Schoharie's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Duanesburg, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-1.

Schoharie and Duanesburg should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps New York Rankings. Schoharie (ranked 222nd) will meet Mayfield (ranked 628th) at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Duanesburg will take on Canajoharie at 7:00 p.m. on January 15th up 242 places (99 vs. 341).
