Basketball Recap: Fort Washakie Eagles vs. Little Snake River Rattlers
Fort Washakie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 80-31 loss at the hands of the Little Snake River Rattlers.
Leading Little Snake River to victory were Marcos Marquez and Bridger Cozzens. Marquez went 6 for 8 en route to 15 points and eight steals, while Cozzens went 6 of 11 on his way to 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Jones, who posted ten points.
Fort Washakie's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Little Snake River, they pushed their record up to 10-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fort Washakie will host St. Stephens at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Little Snake River, they will be playing at home against Rangely at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
