There's no place like home for Sullivan, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They came out on top against the Arcola Purple Riders by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Redskins, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Sullivan won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-18.

Aeralyn Thrasher paced Sullivan's offense, picking up six kills. Thrasher got some help from Eiley Poe and her nine assists. Thrasher was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Sullivan's win ended a four-match drought at home and bumped them up to 8-8. As for Arcola, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.

Sullivan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Unity Christian on the 25th. As for Arcola, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Villa Grove on the 25th.
