Soccer Recap: Macon County vs. Cumberland County
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Station Camp, Macon County was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Cumberland County Jets 1-0. Bree Wheet had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Tigers.
Macon County's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Cumberland County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9-2 record this season.
Macon County will be playing in front of their home fans against DeKalb County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Cumberland County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
