Basketball Game Preview: Franklin County Lions vs. Hart County Bulldogs

Franklin County is 1-9 against Hart County since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Franklin County Lions will host the Hart County Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Thursday, Franklin County was able to grind out a solid victory over Prince Avenue Christian, taking the game 61-49. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Meanwhile, Hart County fought the good fight in their overtime match against Hebron Christian on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 64-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (56), the Bulldogs still had to take the loss.

Hart County has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-6 record this season. As for Franklin County, their win bumped their record up to 7-10.

Franklin County came up short against Hart County in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, falling 61-55. Can Franklin County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
