Soccer Recap: Charlotte Has No Trouble Against Dunbar

After failing to score in their last match, Charlotte made sure to put some goals up on the board against Dunbar on Friday. They were the clear victor by an 8-0 margin over the Dunbar Tigers. Considering the Fightin' Tarpons have won six games by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Dunbar from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Ava Hall led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Charlotte has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-1-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those six matches. As for Dunbar, they dropped their record down to 4-10 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Charlotte does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dunbar, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Dunbar face off against the East Lee County at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
