Baseball Recap: Coventry Christian Comes Up Short

Coventry Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 14-0 to the Conestoga Christian Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Conestoga Christian this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 back in March.

Coventry Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Conestoga Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Coventry Christian will square off against rival High Point Baptist Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Conestoga Christian is set to challenge their familiar foe Mount Calvary Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
