Basketball Recap: Woodland Extends Home Winning Streak to Nine

It was a proper cat-fight when Woodland challenged Barnsdall on Friday. The Woodland Cougars came out on top against the Barnsdall Panthers by a score of 38-28. This was a revenge game for the Cougars: when they faced off against the Panthers back in December of 2024, they had to take a 40-31 loss.

Woodland's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-10. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.0 points over those games. As for Barnsdall, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season.
