Baseball Recap: Lindsay Comes Up Short

The Lindsay Leopards came up short against the Elgin Owls on Saturday, falling 9-1. The Leopards have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lindsay now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Elgin, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 14-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lindsay will square off against Kingston at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. Lindsay's pitchers better be ready for this one: Kingston has averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season. As for Elgin, they will face off against Lawton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
