Softball Recap: Sumter County Panthers vs. Kendrick Cherokees

While Sumter County put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Kendrick. The Sumter County Panthers put the hurt on the Kendrick Cherokees with a sharp 12-0 win. Considering the Panthers have won 12 games by more than seven runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Tadaisha Aldridge made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in strikeouts. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

In other batting news, Sumter County got a massive performance out of Isis Snipes, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. Tralisha Williams was another key player, going 2-for-2 with a home run and two runs.

She wasn't the only one working in the home runs department: Sumter County lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
