The University Christian Barracudas's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight defeat. They fell 62-51 to Statesville Christian. University Christian has struggled against Statesville Christian recently, as their match on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Several Barracudas players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Reece Morin, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 13 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Gerken, who scored 12 points.

University Christian's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Statesville Christian, their win ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-12.

University Christian will head out on the road to face off against Millers Creek Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Statesville Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
