Homer is 9-1 against Institute of Tech since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Trojans will venture away from home to square off against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Homer knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Institute of Tech likes a good challenge.

On Thursday, Homer needed a bit of extra time to put away New Hartford. They came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 63-56. The Trojans' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Institute of Tech hadn't done well against Indian River recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Eagles walked away with a 34-26 win over the Wolves. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Homer's record now sits at 5-0. As for Institute of Tech, their record is now 4-1.

Homer came up short against Institute of Tech in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 16-6. Can the Trojans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
