Groton-Dunstable came out on top against Fitchburg on Monday thanks in part to Kaitlin Haggerty's efforts. The Red Raiders had no answer to Haggerty as she tossed seven innings while giving up four earned (and two unearned) runs off eight hits. Haggerty has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Haggerty and Groton-Dunstable will be playing in front of their home fans against Marlborough at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Crusaders have been struggling at home and they will enter the matchup having lost six straight home games dating back to last season.
