Volleyball Recap: Forest City Comes Up Short at Home Against Susquehanna

Forest City unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Susquehanna Sabers on Thursday, falling 3-0. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

While Forest City was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Susquehanna's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-15, 25-22.

Susquehanna's victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Forest City will face off against West Scranton at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Susquehanna, they will venture away from home to take on Greater Nanticoke Area at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
