Football Recap: Eastern Musketeers vs. Clarksville Generals

Eastern had lost six straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 0-2 to make it seven. They took a 35-18 bruising from the Clarksville Generals. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Musketeers of the 70-42 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2022.

As for Clarksville, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 38.0 points this season.

Clarksville found their leader in sophomore Keshaun Muckle, who rushed for 83 yards and three touchdowns, and also picked up 45 receiving yards and one TD. Another player making a difference was Elijah Winburn, who picked up 131 receiving yards and one score.
