Football Recap: Forest Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

Forest and Poplarville squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Forest had to settle for second. They fell 43-34 to the Hornets. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Bearcats, who until this contest were averaging 14.92 points allowed.

Tylan Keys produced another solid effort rushing for 195 yards and four scores for Poplarville. Keys' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 195 rushing yards.

Forest's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-3. As for Poplarville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.

As of now, neither Forest nor the Hornets have any future games scheduled.
