Volleyball Recap: Hurricane Triumphs

Hurricane saw some tournament action on Friday. They came out on top against the Deseret Peak Golden Eagles by a score of 2-0.

Carter Wardle paced Hurricane's offense, picking up five kills. Wardle got some help from Kasey Kearney and his 20 assists. Dawson Anderson controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Hurricane's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Deseret Peak, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Hurricane didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Mountain Crest on the 27th. As for Deseret Peak, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Bonneville on the 27th.
