Recap: Lake View Wildcats vs. Amundsen Vikings
After losing to the Amundsen Vikings the last time they met, the Lake View Wildcats decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Lake View secured a 53-48 W over Amundsen on Friday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Lake View.
Lake View's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ayden Reed led the charge by scoring 18 points along with five steals and two blocks. Another player making a difference was Dyami Rolon, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds and two steals.
Lake View is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Amundsen, they bumped their record down to 5-9 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Lake View will be playing at home against Schurz at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Amundsen, they will head out on the road to take on Prosser at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
