Baseball Recap: Walden Grove Victorious

Walden Grove saw some tournament action on Friday. They walked away with an 8-4 victory over the Burges Mustangs. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Red Wolves.

Sebastian Gallardo was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Alec Jimenez, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Walden Grove's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Burges, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5-2 record this season.

Walden Grove wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 1-0 loss against Hanks on the 1st. As for Burges, they have also already played their next match, a 20-0 defeat against Campo Verde on the 1st.
