Softball Recap: Delhi Hawks vs. Ripon Christian Knights
Delhi was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 13-4 to the Ripon Christian Knights. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Delhi of the 9-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April.
For Ripon Christian's part, the team relied heavily on Ally Brown, who scored three runs while going 2-for-5. The team also got some help courtesy of Savannah Hoekman, who went 2-for-5 with three RBI and a stolen base.
Delhi's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Ripon Christian, their win bumped their record up to 5-15.
