West Broward won the last time they faced Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) and things went their way on Friday too. The Bobcats skirted past the Stallions 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bobcats have posted since April 23, 2024.

Cheyanne Chaffin spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits.

At the plate, West Broward's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Natalia Solorzano, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI. Cyara Geronimo was another, going 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

West Broward's record is now 9-5. As for Somerset Academy (Silver Palms), their defeat dropped their record down to 12-5.
