Basketball Recap: McLouth Takes a Loss

McLouth lost against Jackson Heights back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The McLouth Bulldogs took a 44-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jackson Heights Cobras.

McLouth's loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Jackson Heights, they moved to 1-4 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, McLouth and Valley Falls will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another on January 3, 2025. McLouth is facing Valley Falls at the right time seeing as Valley Falls is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Jackson Heights, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Horton on January 3, 2025.
